Kentucky’s 2007 General Assembly convenes in Regular Session on January 2, 2007. In this "odd-year" session we meet for thirty legislative days. The Kentucky Constitution requires that we adjourn the session by March 30, 2007.

The first week in January is the organizational session, where legislators are assigned committees and each caucus holds elections. After January 5th, we break until reconvening on February 6th, and begin the legislative session in earnest.
